Aerial Production

PixelWorkers shoots aerial video and photography from helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and drones throughout North Texas and wherever the job takes us.

When the shot calls for more than a drone, we bring a GSS gimbal into the air. It gives us the stability, precision, and reach to put a real cinema camera in the air and get shots that simply aren’t possible any other way.

Whether it’s aerial cinematography, aerial videography, or still photography, we can build the right camera system around the shot.

Air-to-Air

Air-to-air is where the difference really shows, whether we’re shooting moving pictures or stills.

Two aircraft. A film pilot. A long lens. And a camera system that has to stay locked while everything around it is moving.

We’ve flown our GSS Gimbal systems on aircraft including the Airbus AS350 and Bell 206, 407 and 429 in addition to fixed wing aircraft with ARRI, RED and Sony cameras and lenses reaching up to 1000mm. It’s a serious setup for getting close, controlled shots of aircraft in flight.

Air-to-Ground

The same setup gives us a remarkably stable platform for helicopter filming and aerial cinematography over cities, infrastructure, plants, roads, and just about anything else from the air. ARRI, RED, or Sony cameras, with lenses reaching up to 1000mm, give us the reach to put the shot exactly where it needs to be.

Whether it’s helicopter filming, aerial photography, or a long-lens shot from the air, the goal is always the same: get the perspective you can’t get from the ground.

Drones

Drones are another tool in the kit.

We fly Part 107 operations for mapping, inspections, establishing shots, and productions where a helicopter isn’t necessary. They’re fast, flexible, and incredibly capable for aerial video, photography, mapping, and inspections.

But sometimes you need a real camera in a real aircraft.

That’s what the GSS is for.
